Garrison's Tavern and Restaurant: Music Scene
A special shout-out to that amazing acoustic guitar musician Saturday evening at Garrison's Tavern and Restaurant. We can't wait to return next week to hear him play everything from Beatle's to Keith Urban to James Taylor. Who says there isn't night-life outside New York City!
And, Garrison's is just around the corner from the Borland House.
The Village of Montgomery is a mecca for the restaurant scene and the Borland House is a block away.
Montgomery is a destination for antique lovers. With 2 antique centers and 5 single-owner shops within a 3 block area, plan to spend the entire day browsing.
Montgomery's New Bandstand
July marked the dedication of the new bandstand located--right across the street from the Borland House! Every Thursday evening throughout the summer, we harken back to simpler times as we sit on the porch to listen, sip wine, and even get up to swing dance to the music. The bandstand is sure to be the premier place for romantic suitors to propose marriage...
Tranquil Touch Day Spa: around the corner
Enjoy some real pampering! Tranquil Touch Day Spa is right around the corner from us. Their treatments are amazing ( I speak from experience!). Service is professional, accommodating, and fairly priced.
You can have a massage and pad back to the Borland House before heading out to dinner.
