Hotel Policies

Check-In is 3-7pm. After Hours Check-In MUST be arranged and is an Additional $35.  Check-Out is 11am.

Our small number of rooms requires the following policies:

You will be charged for the full cost of the reservation with 24hours from the time the reservation is made. $35/room/night is non-refundable for processing fees.

Friday and/or Saturday night bookings are non-refundable.

ALL other days Sunday-Thursday throughout the year.

  1. Cancellation received 2 weeks prior to reservation, you receive a FULL refund minus the $35 processing fee per night per room.
  2. Cancellation received LESS than 2 weeks prior to reservation, NO REFUND is given.

(Arrival later than confirmed reservation date/time, departure earlier than confirmed reservation date or no-shows are considered to be a cancellation and are subject to our above cancellation policy of full payment for reservation with NO REFUND.)

On-Site Policies

Alcohol Policy - Alcoholic beverage consumption is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).

Smoking Policy - The Borland House is Non-Smoking.  A $200 per day cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside the Inn.

Damages - Any damages incurred by a guest to rooms or Borland House property will be charged to guest, not to exceed $500.

Pets - Service Pets Allowed and Dogs Under 20lbs Allowed.  There is an additional Fee of $35/dog/night required for booking room.  Dogs are not allowed in rooms unattended. Dogs must be on a leash in public areas. A $250 fine will be charged if pet waste is not disposed of properly on property.  See above for additional damage policy that applies to any pet. 

Cancel a Reservation

To cancel or modify an existing reservation, please call us at 845-457-1513. or email the reservation desk. Please have your reservation number ready.
